Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations, or whirlings, of the mind.
When we show up on our mats each week a little part of us remains connected to the bigger picture. We pause, we move and breath in union and if we’re lucky the mind stills for a moment.
And then when we step off our mats we take that little bit of peace and stillness we’ve created into our day, our week and our lives. Our inner light shines a little brighter and will radiate out to all we touch.
Yoga reveals itself to you. You can’t make it happen. All you can do is to let go, surrender to what is and it will open to you because it was always there. This is the ‘atman’, your true self, your soul, your breath, who you really are.
We then maybe start to live more consciously….more awake….
